MY PHILOSOPHY AND SERVICES
I'm not here to fix you because I don't believe you're broken.
We all have wounding.
And we all have different parts of ourselves that developed certain stories and behaviors to protect our hearts from that pain and how it gets triggered by our inner and outer worlds presently.
This can look like depression and anxiety but also things like difficulties controlling our anger, substance misuse, self-harm, disordered eating, etc.
Yet, you're probably here because you already know—or at least suspect—that your current forms of coping are no longer serving you and may even cause more pain than long-term relief. And this makes sense.
When we engage with life from a place of self-protection, our nervous system activates, our bodies contract, and our minds can't see ourselves or the outside world clearly. We become dysregulated, disembodied, and disconnected from our intuition, lost in cycles of trigger and response without really addressing the root by unburdening our heavy hearts.
So, this becomes the invitation in my life's work: How can I help others unburden and unbind from the wounds and conditioning that leave them stuck, deepen their relationship to a more authentic self, and gain access to an open heart as a source of resilience and connection.

MENTAL HEALTH COUNSELING
Individual Psychotherapy
Rooted in a deeply relational and emotionally focused approach, I tailor each session to meet my clients' unique needs, drawing intuitively from a range of modalities.
With training in Expressive Arts Therapy, Internal Family Systems, Rogerian Psychotherapy, Polyvagal Theory, Body-Oriented Psychotherapy, Focusing, and Accelerated Experiential Dynamic Psychotherapy, my work is trauma-informed and holistic at its core, grounded in my firm belief in the human capacity for healing and transformation.
I trust in the reparative power of attuned relationships and strive to create a space where my clients feel wholly seen and heard. Together, we reflect not only on the felt sense of your experiences but also on the impact of sharing those experiences with me as your witness. As we move through this process, I also emphasize nervous system regulation—soothing the body and mind to foster lasting changes through the science of neuroplasticity.
This dynamic interplay of emotional attunement, reflection, nervous system regulation, and relational connection lies at the heart of my practice, aiming to nurture an environment that empowers clients to access deeper layers of self-awareness and lasting growth.
I currently specialize in women's issues and enjoy working with young adults, the queer community, and men interested in mindfulness or spirituality. I accept BCBS insurance and offer counseling to ages 18 and up.
